Volunteering

Do you have what it takes to be a “Pawprints” volunteer?

We believe that volunteers are the heart of our project to support our indigenous wildlife.

Supported by a robust volunteer management programme we aim to ensure an excellent volunteer experience. Following induction into the organisation, volunteers are encouraged to develop their personal skills and confidence in a range of roles. Supported by the core team they will, following training in their area of work, be encouraged to grow, to develop and to take responsibility for the care of the wildlife they support.

There are roles for events managers and fundraisers at events across the

region, phone responders, drivers, rescuers and rehabbers (of a variety of

animals and birds).

We need hands-on animal support every day in our wildlife rescue centre in Hoylake and at our wild bird area, also in Hoylake.

We always welcome retail workers in our charity shop in New Ferry.

If you have a few hours  - or a few days  to spare to support our wildlife in Wirral, and you are aged over 14 years, we want to hear from you.

Download our volunteer form, contact us on Facebook, Twitter, send an email to hello@pawprintswildlife.co.uk or fill in our contact form.

See you soon!  - we hope
